📢 Fund Transfer Update
The Iowa Nepalese Association (INA) Board has decided to make one consolidated transaction to transfer the full Nepal Flood Relief 2026 fundraising amount to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund (PMDRF).
We are therefore currently waiting for the remaining pending donations to be received so that all funds can be consolidated and transferred together in a single transaction.
💰 The Zeffy donation link remains open until the final transfer is completed. If you have pledged or initiated a donation that is still pending, please complete it at your earliest convenience. Additional donations are also welcome until the final transfer.
We will provide an update once the pending funds have been received and the consolidated transfer to PMDRF has been completed.

Standing Together for Nepal
Nepal is facing a devastating flood disaster, with families and communities suffering tremendous loss. The Iowa Nepalese Association (INA) is coming together to support those affected and provide a way for our community to help.
❤️ Nepal Flood Relief Fundraiser
The Iowa Nepalese Association (INA) is collecting donations through September 15, 2026, to support disaster relief efforts in Nepal.
The Government of Nepal has requested a “one-door” approach for disaster relief, encouraging contributions to be consolidated through the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund, the government’s designated fund for supporting people and communities affected by natural disasters.
In keeping with this approach, INA will transfer the total funds raised through this campaign directly to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund of Nepal.

On Sunday, August 30, 2026, members of the Iowa Nepalese community gathered at Centennial Park in Waukee for a Candlelight Vigil for Nepal.
We came together to remember those affected by the devastating floods, pray for those still in danger, and show our solidarity with families and communities across Nepal.
May everyone be safe.
May rescuers reach those in need.
