Our FLL (First Lego League) team, Himalayan Hackers, participated in First Lego League Regional Qualifier held in Ottumwa on Dec 1, 2018. Our team Himalayan Hackers seniors has been recognized for “Robot Design Award” & they also advanced to the Iowa FLL State Championship which will be held on Saturday, January 19 on the Iowa State University College of Engineering campus. Team Himalayan Hackers is comprised of nine kids – Aanavi Rajbhandary, Anisha Prajapati, Anusha Adhikari, Bisesh Pokharel, Ojaswi Pathak, Prashun Ghimire, Rohan Sah, Shreyas Shrestha and Shubham Sah. Team is mentored by Apeksha Adhikari and Shreya Shrestha and coached by Pujan Lama and Suraj Amatya.

Our junior FLL team Himalayan Hackers Jr. has been recognized for “Synergy & Spirit Award”.  Participants are Neil Bhattarai, Ozash Pandey, Parul Sthapit, Ruvan Shrestha and Snehi Pokharel. Team Himalayan Hackers Jr. is coached by Bikram Shrestha and Pradip Sthapit.

Additionally, our another junior FLL team Himalayan Hackers Freshman has been awarded for “Lil Einstein Award”. Members of this team are Aarav Singh, Aryaman Pradhan, Aryan Raj, Debanee Koirala, Julia Shrestha and Samyam Khadga. Team Himalayan Hackers Freshman is coached by Binod Pokharel and Yadav Shrestha.
